In 1985, The Transformers as we know them in the USA, appeared in Japan as Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers! With a slick new logo and rebranded toys from a previously existing toyline, The Transformers had finally turned Japanese.
This is the unique Japanese release dubbed "22" in the numbering sequence. Includes a nice styrofoam insert that the US release didn't have. What's wild is that this release packaging didn't even have a barcode on the box!
Comes new in box. These toys were never release with taped sides so they can't ever be deemed "sealed."
